Why: From what we know, when a lightsaber cuts, it burns the blood vessels so there is no loss of blood, but the arm that Obi-Wan cuts off in the Mos Eisley cantina is covered with blood, which it shouldn’t be.

As far as we know, Obi Wan attack with his lightsaber cut and killed Dr Evazan and cut off Ponda Baba's arm. It is a very fast and efective scene. I don't know if could be done better
