Why: Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber as Slave I is taking off only to throw a tracking device and switch it off again. He doesn’t need to switch on his lightsaber in the first place, although it makes a nice visual effect of Slave I leaving and Obi-Wan deactivating his lightsaber in the rain. To save this effect, I think there should be a reason for him to ignite it.
How: The only thing that I can think of is to shift Jango’s escape a bit so that Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber before Jango is seen climbing up the ramp and the hatch closing behind him. However, I think this will be a bit tricky to do.
