Why: When Luke comes out of the bacta tank, C3-PO tells him how happy he is to see him fully functional again, to which Luke replies, “Thanks, Threepio,” which was added in the 1997 Special Edition. Although it’s a good line and a good place to put it, it doesn’t sound right. Luke’s voice is very deep in that part, like the microphone was too close to Mark Hamill’s mouth when he recorded it, if that was Mark in the first place.
How: Just get Mark or someone who sounds like him to record it again, and dub over it.
