Why: The way Anakin, Padmé, and the droids just take off from Tatooine without saying goodbye to the Lars doesn’t seem right. Also, taking C3-PO with them like that doesn’t seem right either since he is like a part of the Lars family and has been with them for over five years. If you read the novel by R.A. Salvatore, this aspect is made quite clear.
How: Include a small segment resolving this issue. An example is when C3-PO says, “Master Ani, does that name mean anything to you,” have Anakin say something along the lines of, “Yes, it means we’ve been here too long.” Then have Anakin thanking the Lars for their hospitality and them telling him that 3PO was his and that his mother would’ve wanted him to take him. If this was integrated into the movie, all the dialogue and character expressions following this would make a whole lot more sense.
