Why: I think it’s almost critical that a line be added to the movie prior to Grievous’ escape from the Invisible Hand to explain to the viewer that the ship is actually falling apart and crashing into Coruscant. All we see is Anakin taking the controls of the ship and crashing it into Coruscant without actually knowing the full extent of the damage to the ship during the battle that made it fall apart in the first place.
How: There are a few lines that are in the original script that were cut out of the movie that explain this point to the viewer. If those were filmed, they should be put back into the movie.
